About
I’m Jose Uribe, a web developer in Cali, Colombia. I like taking ideas to the point where someone uses them.
Today I work as a developer in a bank’s innovation lab, on a Scrum team building a fintech product with Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL on Azure.
Outside of that I get sites and products off the ground for businesses and people: a flow for contracting funeral plans in Ecuador, a language school’s platform, the site of a research NGO in Rio de Janeiro and those of several independent professionals. On each one I own the whole path: understanding what the business needs, deciding what comes first, building it and launching it.
On the side I’m studying Business Administration, and I work more and more on the product side: what gets built, for whom and in what order.
I work in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
